        In the 18th century if you tell someone that one day we can go to the moon, can fly like birds, or can talk with people 1000 km away from us then what will be their reaction? Probably they would think that you are a madman. But now in present whole, these things are happening. Because time changes. Who knows even this phenomenon which is like impossible to us or like a Sci-fi can be available till 2050.

It's something like that, when you entered your home, doors will be automatically open, the light will be depending on your mood etc etc.

         You think, how this is a future tech? Yes, contact lenses are not future technology but the future of contact lense technology is changing. There are digital contact lenses are available now. Which have the power to detect your body glucose, body temperature etc. Google and Novartis, in its joint venture, has developed these type of lenses. And who can say, may be in future we will see lenses which can take pictures just like Mission Impossible movie.

       What is your phone's camera quality?  5MP, 10MP, 30MP? This is general. But there are more huge quality cameras are also available. Yes but these are not available for general people.

          US energy department recently introduced a LSST 3.2 giga pixel camera. It is mainly a telescopic camera with 189 sensors and 3 mirrors. Its weight is 2.7 ton and it is capable of capturing picture 40 times more greater area than the area of the moon.

Turing Test : The examination in AI

Turing test, the way to test the knowledge of machine :


          In 1950 a mathematician introduced an examination system to examine the learning process of the machine. His name was Alan Turing. Respecting his invention the method or test was named as Turing effect or Turing test.

       It is like an examination that we sit to pass our classes. There are some questions, that we have to answer. And depending on that answers the examiner gives us marks which state our knowledge and capabilities.


      The same in the case of machines to judge it's ability. How you can say a machine is artificially intelligent! Or what are the lines that after crossing this, a machine can be said to be an AI machine? It is the Turing test. Through this examination process researchers are able to understand a machine's human-like behavior. With the help of Turing test, you can find out a machine artificially intelligent or not!

How this Turing test is conducted :


      Turing test is conducted in a very simple method like it can be seen in the below image.

       As the above picture in the Turing test, there are 3 parts. 2 men and a computer or machine. The examiner asks questions to both the computer and the man. This process goes on and wherever in the middle of the examination. If the computer or the machine is able to make fool the examiner and if the examiner misses just the machine with the man, then the machine or computer can be defined as artificially intelligent.

         This is what a Turing test in a simple manner.

      Turing tests are conducted to determine a machine's capability and knowledge. But there is not a full path to examine its intelligence. As we know there is a huge difference between knowledge and intelligence.

            What do we think when the word AI come for non-programmers or technology related people? A picture of some sci-fi movie come out whenever we hear about AI.

         For some people, AI means only Alexa,  Siri or Tesla's automated cars. Yes, you are not wrong. These all are coming with AI and ML features.

But there are a lot more you will astonish when you know that AI can predict some diplomatic situation or advice you on your legal site like how to anticipatory bell etc.

       These all can be happened now, with the help of AI. Yesterday I read an article, where there was written that the jobs of lawyers in danger situation in the US. Because "Watson"  is now capable of giving advice like your attorney. In the next ten years, it will be more developed.


What is AI Black box?

       Now coming to our topic.
       As I have mentioned in the upper paragraph. Some very complex issues now can be solved by AI. (Increasing development in QUANTUM COMPUTING will help in more development in AI). Sometimes these types of complex issues are done with the help of AI but the operator doesn't know the process. Yes, with the help of its algorithms and self-learning process, some machines solve problems  & it's not possible for the operator to know the process. Because such type of algorithm and calculations can never be solved by any men.


        Or simply we can say AI Black box means that we can understand what goes in and what comes out, but it's not possible to know, what the machine is thinking while processing. For example, if you put a potato in a machine, chips come out and you don't know what is going inside the machine. Then the machine is called the black box. And if this case is happening in the AI field (for AI machine) then it is called AI black box. There is no such black box outside the AI field. Because only an AI compatible machine can think.

Conclusion :


        This is the main concept of AI Black box. But we all know about people's thinking. People can't see what is going under the roof, so they start rumoring like this AI black box always carries out some fear because people can't elaborate on what is going on inside. So, even some government agencies always have an eye on it. But as always I say, there are two sides of a coin and never misunderstand anything by just seeing one side of it.

AI: Not Artificial Intelligence, but Augmented Intelligence

Augmented intelligent and artificial intelligence(AI):


         As we all now know what is Artificial Intelligence. The intelligence that is similar to human intelligence can be called AI.(for the difference between human and artificial intelligence, click here).



     Experts say that AI is for human replacement and it also seems like true. Driverless cars just prove it that in future many jobs will not be available. Some say full development of AI can be harmful to humans. I don't say that it will happen surely. But in the case of augmented intelligence, it is different.


What is Augmented Intelligence? 


          Augmented intelligence is also like artificial intelligence. But it is an alternative concept. Augmented intelligence is developed to help in human activities rather than replace them.

       For example, driverless cars are with Artificial intelligence features. But if in a car there is a system of detecting traffic or detecting some obstacles in front of it and warn the driver, then it is augmented intelligence. It means, augmented intelligence emphasize the supportive role of the


technology with the help of machine learning and deep learning. The idea of augmented intelligence was first proposed by Cybernetics and early computer pioneer in 1950s and 60.

         In many sectors augmented intelligence can be used:

   
        1. In Healthcare: an augmented intelligence algorithm can analyze patients health, vital signs, compare it with histories and knowledge and help the doctor to diagnose it.

        2. In Education:  An augmented algorithm can monitor the student's consciousness, examine them and help the teachers to find out solutions for teaching methods.

Conclusion:


Augmented Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence are not so much different from each other in its technology, but coming into perspective it's much different. Artificial intelligence is a very new way of thought. But Augmented intelligence will always help people instead of replacing them, people will not lose jobs or at least we have to worry much more about the future. Quantum computing and AI

                  Quantum computing is a highly professional sector. Instead of using binary digits, this type of computers uses quantum bits. Which can be in the superposition of states. The field of quantum computing was initiated by the work of Paul Benioff and Yuri Manin in 1980, Richard Feynman in 1982 and David Deutsch in 1985.

        Still, in 2018, you can't find an actual quantum computer. It is still in its infancy. But both practical and theoretical research continues and government and corporates are investing in it.

How Quantum Computing can make changes in AI:


       Now coming to our title topic, that how can it revolutionize AI.


       Before coming to this we should know what is the difference between human and humanoid. I think mainly consciousness. It is intelligent like us, it can solve problems, it can learn from its mistakes. But can it live anybody? Can it admire a president, can it know what is bad or good in day to day life, can it decide whom to vote?

         We can decide because we have a brain. The human brain is the most complex computer in the world. Even scientists can't properly give the answer how much decision our brain can take in per second.

      Quantum computing can take the journey of AI a little bit closer to human brains. Theories show that quantum computers are able to take many decisions in millisecond like our brain.

     Quantum computers are faster, as we see Google says that they have a quantum computer which is 100 million times faster than today's system. So by this speed AI surely will be profitable. Quantum algorithm allows us to enhance what is already possible with machine learning. Quantum computing helps in optimization of problems. Quantum computers are better equipped to solve sequential problems. By the using of quantum computing, it is possible to spot patterns in large data sets. General computing allows checking records one after another. But in the case of the quantum

computer, it can access and check all items of data in the database, much like our own brain. This type of computing helps to integrate data from different datasets which is also very valuable for strong AI development. Quantum computer will allow for quick analysis and integration of enormous data sets. Which will improve the ML and AI capability?

Conclusion:


       Till date, quantum computing is not getting its final stage. But before completing, the results that come out are strange. And we think we are going to see improved and strong AI before it completes its fill stage.

Chatbots

What is chatbot? 


         In 1994, Michael Mauldin used the term "Chatbot"  first. Simply it's just a computer program that can talk to humans. It is a virtual user that simulate a conversation with a human via auditory and textual methods. It was a very big problem for companies to answer a large number of queries from customers. Now the questions can be replied instantly by the chatbots.

        Chatbots can be classified into categories such as customer support design, Education, analytics, communication, conventional e-commerce., games, shopping, social, news marketing etc.


History :


       AI, Machine learning is the very important part of chatbots. Though the terms AI and chatbot are new for maximum people, you must know that chatbots are not the latest invention. The first chatbot ELIZA was created in 1966 by Joseph Weizenbaum at the MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. ELIZA is the first chatbot that is capable of attempting the Turing test. After ELIZA there are many chatbots were made like PARRY, Jabberwacky, ALICE. ELIZA and PARRY were used to simulate typer conversation.

       In this post, we are going to discuss the chatbots, which were shut down. In one of our previous post, we discussed the chatbot of facebook which was shut down. Now we are going to discuss on Tay and Zo.

Tay: 

                This chatbot was originally released by Microsoft via Twitter on March 23, 2016. It was designed to mimic the language patterns of a 10-year-old American girl and to learn from interacting with users of Twitter.

        At first, it started to reply to other Twitter users and was also able to caption photos provided to it into a form of internet memes.

         But some users on Twitter began tweeting politically incorrect phrases, teaching it inflammatory messages, revolving common themes such as "GamersGate", "Cuckservatism" redpilling. Due to which it began releasing racist and sexually-charged messages. AI researcher Roman Yampolskiy say that Microsoft had not given the bot an understanding of inappropriate behavior. That's why it learned such behaviors.

       Tay twitted more than 96000 times in 16 hours before Microsoft suspended the Tay's twitter account. It is not possible for them to delete all the offensive messages.

     On March 23, Microsoft released an apology on its official blog for the controversial tweets by Tay.

      But on March 30, 2016, they again released  Tay on Twitter accidentally while they test it. Tay again released some drug-related tweets. But it was taken offline quickly.

Zo: It is the successor of the chatbot Tay. Zo was first launched in December 2016 on the Kik messenger app. But it was also shut down due to some offensive tweets.




Conclusion: 

       
                        When developing Artificial Intelligence, everyone wanted the machine to act and behave like a human. But is it good for them? I mean humans not only good behavior, there are many bad things that a machine can learn from us. The two chatbots are just an example of it. We are not opposing AI and Machine Learning. But if a human can kill another human, then why a machine will not? If a human can waging war for land and existence, then why the machine will not, While they learning from us. The question is is it important for the machines to learn from a human? And if it is, then can it will be possible to build an AI machine only with good behavior?

         Don't astonish after seeing the title. Today here you are going to read about a killer drone.

        Yes, a killer drone. This drone is capable of identifying suspects of bad people and able to kill them on its own.

        AI and Machine learning is the main thing in Robotics. In this article, we are going to take one example of the negative uses of AI. This article is about the negative side of AI. People always should know both the good and bad sides of anything.

        In 2017 a video came out on YouTube which shocks the world. This 7 min video showed something very astonishing. This video showed a little drone. With the help of AI, face recognition system, it can kill people. Even a people of a city by explosives like a massacre.

This is trained with the moves &  flying insects. It has face recognition system. It can also recognize its target by its gender, uniform, and ethnicity. It also carries a mini weapon which directly able to shoot in the head.

       As I mentioned before a coin has two sides. It always depends on users. A gun can be used in both offensive and defensive manner.

         This drone is good. It reduces human risk in the case of military uses. But what if ISIS, Boko Haram get it.

       Though there are many languages like C++, Java, LISP. But recently researchers focus on using Python in AI development. But still, languages are always affected by personal preferences and the ability of the developer.





Using Python in AI development causes:


       Python is an interpreted high-level programming language for general purpose programming. Python features a dynamic type system and automatic memory management. Python is a multi-featured language. The uses of python can't be limited to one activity. It helps in some of the complex processes like AI, Machine Learning, Data Science etc. Why python, nowadays so popular in AI development. Reasons may be like this-

      1. AI has huge algorithms. Using other languages makes it move huge. Whereas using Python makes it shorter comparing to other languages. Writing an algorithm in python is ¹/5 times shorter than other languages.

    If you are coming to this article to read it, then you probably hear about Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.




   Today we will go to discuss here what is Machine Learning, some uses, and the difference between ML and AI.
 
    Before starting Machine Learning, we should know what is a machine. Machine is a thing or system which help us to do works easily. It can be anything. It may a screwdriver or a computer. Anything that reduces human effort is a machine.

    Oh,  wait before coming to ML what do you think about a smart machine? Generally a computer. Is computer smart? No way, computers are efficient to do works what we command. Your pc may be fast, may have high processing speed but in the case of smartness, your pc is not so smart. Your pc only solves those works what you want to give it to solve. It doesn't have any intelligence or common sense. It can perform because it is previously programmed to do so.






    Now coming to the Machine Learning. It means simply that if a machine can learn and expert in something. For example, if a computer learns to solve questions like "How much you have if you got 3$ from your father and 9$ from your mother?"  then we can simply call it is as machine learning. Because it learns from its algorithms to solve new problems.

    Another example, we can take to understand the difference of it. Your computer can solve the very big equation but can't recognize a day by seeing its picture. If you manage to teach the computer by submitting many pictures of a dog, shape of them and behavior of dogs in its algorithm and one day you put another type of dog breed, then it also can understand that it's a dog by depending on its previous experience. It's machine learning.

     It means that if a machine starts learning from its experience and its surroundings and can be able to solve new problems, then it's called machine learning.

    Difference between ML and AI:


     We generally hear about AI when a new product is launched in the market. Companies tell us that it has AI features. Really? No....  AI and ML are different things. ML is a part of AI. Now coming to new products. It doesn't have AI, it has ML features. You are confused now. Yes, these are the difference between AI and ML.

     Let's understand it with our previous example of "Dog recognization by computer". Now if you teach a computer to recognize dog then it will be recognized dog though you put a new breed. But what happens if you put a cat in front of it?  It will not be able to recognize it. It means that ML is just an expert in one thing. If you teach a machine just one field then it will just able to perform itself in that particular field or its related field only.

     AI is different from it. AI have common sense. It can solve problems smartly. It can solve a new problem by depending on its past experience and also able to learn new things from its past mistakes.

      This is a simple article for general people without using any technological terms. AI and ML both are the very advanced topic and it has a bright future. Because we don't explore its full possibilities and full dimensions.

Uses of Artificial Intelligence in Astronomy

        We have seen many sci-fi movies, where AI is used in the spacecraft. From A Space Odyssey to Interstellar we have seen many futuristic techs, which are still futuristic. But we have really some hi-tech machines that are used by space agencies. In real life machine learning and Artificial Intelligence is used in astronomy and space science. Organizations like NASA and ESA has been researching in this field for many years. Many processes are introduced and many are now under revision.

        Here we are going to analyze some topics on how AI is or can be used in space science.


        Nowadays each and every space agencies focusing their goal to establish a human community on space or focusing on man mission to space. For this reason, automatic planning and scheduling is traditionally the most studied field within AI for space. Hence we are going to analyze them in simple language so that common people can be able to understand them.

    1. Distributed AI with application to space system can help in the analysis of large quantities of data to solve the global optimization problem. Satellites are orbited to gather information. Satellites send its data to space stations here on earth. And here large computer network analyze then. Distributing data analysis help the dependency between different computations. Introducing atomization in this field will result in accuracy. However, it's not fully possible yet. But a preliminary version of this intelligent server is being developed and tested for the final purpose of being able to automatically carry out the whole trajectory optimization process without any expert supervision.

   2. A feature of AI which is swarm intelligence is used in space technologies. Swarm intelligence is that type of intelligence where machines can behave similarly adapting to its natural surroundings. Space technologies are limited in terms of mobility, communication, and size. So by using these methods of AI, this problems can be optimized. So that agents can survive in less known or unknown environment of space. Recently this motivation led a number of researchers to simulate some degree of swarm intelligence in a number of space system to investigate their behavior.




   3. AI can be used in spacecraft for its self-awareness projects. Now spacecraft are dependent on their space stations for their health status. But ML and AI have a huge advantage in helping this situation out of trend. Using a data-driven method which is mainly data mining and Machine Learning techniques, the system can sensor, diagnose its components and fix its parts and in need apart its components. NASA's Integrated Health Management System is one example where they are developing this type of software which are highly capable of doing so.

                This is just an overview what space station are now developing in their AI field. Recently a news comes that NASA is developing AI with the help of IBM to give directions in space.

      Can AI predict anything? The next generation will be able to see the future! Maybe or maybe not.

      But yes, Nautilus a 1024-core supercomputer is able to predict the nature and some upcoming events. Like this, if you are investigating AI outcome day by day then you will be able to see many interesting facts.

      The University of Tennessee's supercomputer Nautilus predicted the revolution of Egypt and with an error of just 200 km, Osama Bin's location in Pakistan.


      Isn't this sounds awesome? yes, with the help of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence this prediction was done by a supercomputer Nautilus.

      A scientist and researcher name Kalev Leetaru had been all news since 1945 and programmed them in Nautilus. The supercomputer then analyzed all data, its impact, and its emotions through its data mining and with the help of ML. It was a hard and complex method. Then the supercomputer predicted the upcoming events and prepared its results through a graph. You can see this bellow. For this process, Mr. Leetaru had to gather almost 100 million news stories since 1945.

What is blockchain?

    Blockchain, we all hear this term since 2018. The blockchain is a commonly distributed ledger to control the cryptocurrency. It is a chain of blocks which contain data. It is a very secure process blockchain is the backbone of digital transactions of cryptocurrency. It is a method of a long rope, where many systems are bounded for a record so that no one can individually change anything. 


      Actually, we can say that it is not a new method,. It is a mixer of three methods -----

     1. Internet
     2. Cryptography
     3. Protocol system

    
     The first blockchain was introduced in 2008 for dealing cryptocurrency from Nakamoto by a man or a group of men.



Positive Sides
      As we know it is used in cryptocurrency so it is a very secure system. Nowadays many central banks start researching in blockchain system to make digital currency system. Because through this currency digitization can be securely run. Though it is a public ledger, so anyone can acquire the knowledge of the current economy but no one can change it. And also users are get updated in real time without wasting time. Blockchain ends the third party system and establishes a one-on-one system between people. 



      For example, if we have to send money to you then we have to go to the band and send money. The transaction is made through banks and the bank recorded all the data. But in Blockchain technology, we can directly send money to you and records are kept in blocks. (In simple words) In general, a bank manage all the transaction and they have the authority but in the blockchain, authority comes to your hand and transaction can be performed with your permission only. Hence every user of the chain can get the information of the transaction but no one can do it without the permission of the specific authority (That is you or the user of that transaction). But this is not only the process. Other user or a specific group of the user should validate your transaction to be true and perfect. So no out of source transaction can be made.

Why Facebook had to stop one of its AI projects?

                    As we know, companies are investing a huge amount in their R&D department for upgrading the AI levels in their products. Each and every huge software and computer companies are researching in development of Artificial Intelligence. But results are not always come in a perfect way. Last year a case of such kind was in the news when Facebook (One of the biggest and popular platforms of social media and computer science) had to shut down its one project on the development of AI.
      Facebook quits an experiment when their two chatbots were developing a new language and started to interact with each other in 2017. This new language was just mysterious to people and men couldn't understand their language.

         Facebook created these chatbots to interact with each other with the help of AI. Their task was to negotiate on trade, balls, and books etc. As the process went on the chatbots "Bob"  and "Alice"  did something amazing and mysterious.

We just put their conversation here:
     Bob: I can I I everything else............
     Alice: Balls have zero to me to me to me to me to me to me to me to me to
    Bob: You I everything else............
    Alice: Balls have a ball to me to me to me to me to me to me to me

      In this way, they went on for many speeches.
       Is this not a bizarre situation?  Yes, of course.  This negotiation was ended up successful but the language was unable to understand. Maybe Facebook has to quite this experiments because this could be going against humanity. However, Facebook considers their shutdown situation as the failure in development only. Their researcher Mike Lewis said that "our interest was having bots who could talk to people" but they could not. So they have to stop that.
   
             This type of cases is not seen for the first time. In 2017 google face same problem. A system in Google uses its own language to translate tools. We will discuss this topic in the future.
       But here's a question always arise. Will AI be useful to the human being or as Stephen Hawkins said it gonna give us a huge risk towards humanity.

I can't assure you on that but we can say that there are lots of new innovation are coming in the automobile industry. Implementation of AI in automobile industry changes a huge part of it.  Now we find driver-less cars, speech recognition,  GPS guides and many more with the help of new technology and AI. Tractica a website, forecast that the market for automotive hardware, software and services will grow from $404 million in 2016 to $14 billion by 2025

        AI is helping in many factors of the automobile industry. Many big companies like Google,  Tesla,  Audi,  BMW, Mercedes are investing a lot in their R&D projects to develop more in the process of merging the AI and car industry.

      1. Increase the connectivity:- Merging of AI and automobile industry will help in connectivity. How? New AI features improve connections between vehicles to vehicles. This will help its company and vehicle owners. With the help of AI software, people can be easily connected with other vehicles,  drivers and other persons as well as. This will increase the safety purpose of the passengers. 

      2. Assistance in driving:- Oh, this is a very famous point as will all know about Tesla. In near future, we will see cars without drivers. Many companies are now developing automatic cars and soon we will go to see them on the roads. This is helping only with the help of AI and machine learning.
 
       3. Internet of things:- Merging of AI and IOT results a huge profit in every field. One report has said that by 2020,  250 million cars will be connected to the internet. This process will help people, dealers, and manufacturers. Through this process, real-time data can be tracked. Hence improvement in manufacturer and stability can be delivered quickly.

     4. Cloud-hosted intelligence:- This is a new field. This system allows cloud hosting in the automotive industry. Real-time traffic, connectivity, assistance all will be very easy with this system.

    5. Help in traffic system:- This will be very useful comparing all other things to all general peoples. AI machines will gather data from traffic camera's and traffic department computers and make the traffic management system steady and good by sending real-time traffic data directly to your cars.

When Ayurveda was written no one imagined that blood pressure can be controlled by machines or we will be able to see things with artificial eyes. But nowadays this can be possible and who knows even in the future we can change our genetic chromosomes.

     Medical science & Healthcare is developing day by day with new technology arrivals. AI and nanotechnology play a vital role in this process.
     Merging of AI in Healthcare just results in a huge change in its point. With the help of AI now machines are eligible to perform Diogenes, treatment and monitoring illness. Even we often here AI beats doctors in competition. Recently it was in the news that an Artificial Intelligence system has recorded a 2-0 victory against physicians in two rounds of competition in Beijing to Diogenes brain tumors and predicts the expansion of brain hematomas. Now with the help of AI machines, patients are talking to chatbots and AI assistants, which outcome is that no patient goes unnoticed or unattended. Actually, Sophia was created only for this purpose so that she can interact with patients, nursing them and make them happy.
      Many companies now focusing their branches in increasing AI and health care integrated products. Companies like IBM, GE HEALTHCARE, PHILIPS, MICROSOFT are developing and researching in this field. Microsoft Azure is like that kind of platform who delivers cloud-based services to healthcare sectors.

      The main aim of merging AI in Healthcare is to analyze the relationship between prevention or treatment and patients recovery. Actually, in Healthcare, AI is mainly used in diagnosis, nursing drugs development etc. According to Wikipedia, “ Artificial intelligence in Healthcare is the use of algorithms and software to approximate human cognition in the analysis of complex medical data.” Recently in news was that AI uses in cancer treatment will reduce the toxic level. It means that in future we will see AI treatment in complex diseases treatments.

     In conclusion, we can we say one thing that after GOD we give second place to doctors. Uses machines in Healthcare no doubt gives a good result till now. Uses of machines in health care is good in fact very progressive, but will it be better to give full control to machines, as it has no emotions. Only time can give this answer. Difference between Human and Artificial Intelligence or machine intelligence.

              AI is gradually in its progress. Is AI and Human Intelligence same? Should Artificial Intelligence copy the human brain? Today we are going to figure out some differences between Human and Artificial Intelligence. But before this, we have to understand what is intelligence.
What is Intelligence?
              The ability to calculate, perception creation, consciousness, reasoning, problem-solving, learn from experiences comprehend complex ideas, imagine and adopt new ideas etc is mainly called intelligence.
              Actually, the ability of problem-solving, learn from experiences and imagine and adapt to new situations can be mainly called as intelligence. We people generally define intelligence of something or someone with just depend on problem-solving and learning method.

Difference between Human and Machine Intelligence {AI}

              The main difference between human and machine is that we have feelings and they don’t. Humans process themselves through brain and machines through programs.
              Humans perceive by patterns and machines perceive by a set of rules and data.
              Humans store and recall information by patterns and machines do it through algorithms.
              Humans can figure out the complete object even if some part of it is missing. But in the case of machine intelligence, they can not do the same.
              Human intelligence is always affected by emotions but Machines have no emotions.
